I’m so happy to launch my new website and branding! My husband and I have been working on this for weeks (not to say months!) and it feels so good to finally share it with you all! I hope you love it too!
The first post on my new website/blog is to share my amazing experience last May, in Seattle USA. Newborn photography is my passion and I’m always studying, improving my skills, and trying to get better and better every day. Online classes are great, but in-person workshops are amazing! I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to meet and learn with my favourite newborn photographers around the world! As you might have seen, in 2015 I had the pleasure to attend Caralee Case and Jeniffer Nace’s workshop in Waseca, USA. This year, when I heard that Luisa Dunn was coming all the way from Australia for a workshop tour in the USA, I couldn’t miss the chance to meet her! The workshop lasted 2 days, full of practice with babies, wrap techniques, and creativity with colours and different props. I follow Luisa’s work since I started working with newborns a couple of years ago and she has always been a great inspiration for me and for my work. I love colours and creating something new in each session and everything that involves a newborn session brings me joy. Elisa Gow has a beautiful work and showed us a mix of posed and lifestyle photos. Luisa Dunn’s workshop experience was truly amazing and I’m sure it will bring my photography to a whole new level. I feel so inspired and I can’t wait to put into practice everything that I’ve learned 🙂
Now, enjoy some behind the scenes from Luisa Dunn and Elise Gow’s workshop 2017.
With love,
amanda dams ♥ Calgary newborn baby photographer
